I am humbled to be bestowed with great responsibility of Presidentship of West Bengal Orthopedic Associate – with glorious academic, Social services along with developing comradeship amongst professional colleagues throughout the year. Great collective contributions by visionary leaders over the years has resulted in qualitative and quantitative development and enabled us to get great recognition by Indian Orthopedics Association who conferred Best Chapter Award to WBOA 2024 at its Annual Conference at Lucknow. We must foster that Great Spirit unitedly so that it touches every members of our Organization including next generation Orthopedic Surgeons and thereby render Best service to our patients and society. The Best is yet to come, and collectively we thrive for growth and development of Organization and every members, all Orthopedic Surgeons of our state. With perseverance and dedication, organized research and innovations WBOA will contribute and set example nationally and internationally, update ourselves and future generation to face new and unaddressed challenges with technological advancements and evidence based practices.
Let’s Learn- the knowledge and skill, if and as needed relearn, Earn- recognition and respect besides livelihood, Serve-society and ourselves. Let’s work together and achieve wonder.

West Bengal Orthopaedic Association has been immensely successful in maintaining its vision of being an institution for the furtherment of orthopaedics in both academic and technical sectors in the state of West Bengal. It is a proud privilege to work as Hony. Secretary of this prestigious Association through thick and thin.

We have organized several seminars and conferences and provided crucial assistance to members ever since our inception, and our vision is to continue doing the same with even higher standards to meet in the years to come.
