I To be president is not my privilege but responsibility. I am committed for it. Academic and social activities are running at a tremendous speed. I have to maintain it if not accelerated. Young energetic team mates are with me. Golden souls and todays’ Legendries will focus torch to find my right path. Ultimately constructive criticism and cooperation from honoured members will correct any of my fault. So, with these positive forces, I am hopeful that WBOA will be the best chapter of Indian Orthopaedic Association next year. Noticeable weakness of members of August WBOA, at large, are deficiency in medical record keeping, publication and presenting papers within and aboard. Efforts to be made to overcome them. Tussle is going on between humanitarian services and consumerism all over the country. All are confused and outcomes are horrifying. As I understand my country it is not ready to accept consumerism at the present moment. So we have to stand by humanitarian services. Long live WBOA
West Bengal Orthopaedic Association has been immensely successful in maintaining its vision of being an institution for the furtherment of orthopaedics in both academic and technical sectors in the state of West Bengal. It is a proud privilege to work as Hony Secretary of this prestigious Association through thick and thin. We have organised several seminars and conferences and provided crucial assistance to members ever since our inception, and our vision is to continue doing the same with even higher standards to meet in the years to come.
